Hemerocallis 'September Flame' (Murphy, 2012) Photo by F.D.Richards, SE Michigan, 8/2020 - Tall Bright Red Daylily Dily, hem-ur -oh-KAL-iss, Mature size: 48", 5.5in. Bright red with narrow cream edge, white midrib, chartreuse throat, very recurved, bud builder., USDA Hardiness Zone 3, Michigan Bloom Month 7, In Garden Bed S2,1a for 12 MONTHS (Bachm). Planted in 2019.

AHS: September Flame (Murphy-J.P., 2012)
height 48 in.(122 cm), bloom 5.5 in.(14 cm), season VLa, Dormant, Diploid, 22 buds, 2 branches, Unusual Form Cascade, Bright red with narrow cream edge, white midrib, chartreuse throat, very recurved, bud builder. ((After Awhile Crocodile × When I Dream) × Barnegat Light)

2020 note: not very tall in 2020 after 12 months in the ground. It is late, bloomed in late August. Purchased directly from the breeder at Valley of the Daylilies.
