I have a rather open style fence (metal pickets) and wish to have more visual screening between our yard and the neighbor's. I had 40 years' worth of Englemann ivy which was fine, but now I have learned that it may attract Japanese beetles which I have noticed eating the Englemann ivy in the yard since 2019. Shall I replace it with English or Baltic ivy? Does ivy really stay green over the winter here? It would be fabulous to have an evergreen vine. We live in the Denver, CO, area, zone 5. Anyone use milky spore, or other eliminators?
