Our house burned down in 2018 and we have been in the process of rebuilding ever since.
We lost over 50 big trees in the fire, and would like to replace some of them.
However, this tree just appeared out of nowhere and is growing very fast.
We would like to know what it is to decide if we should transplant it or get rid of it.
The trunk is green and seems to be without bark, not sure if this is going to change when the tree gets older. We have a few of these, the tallest one is 14 feet tall. Let me know if you need more photos or info.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks everyone.

Michael, first, welcome to the site and I am so sorry you lost your house and trees during the Camp Fire. We had to evacuate during the Carr Fire that same year but were fortunate not to have lost our house.

Your tree looks like an Acacia tree but I cannot say with certainty which one. Initially I thought Acacia decurrens but I am not sure it would be cold hardy in Paradise. That may be a good starting point for an I.D.

Good luck

I agree that it's some kind of Acacia.

An invasive species here. It often resprouts from roots if damaged by frost or fire, and can make dense thickets. It is not at all fire-resistant, and should not be planted near dwellings.

Thank you all for your responses. It is very nice knowing what we have to help us to plan our property. We will let the grove stand until we prepare our property for landscaping, but will replace the trees as soon as possible.
