English Cameo has been in my USDA Zone 7a/b garden for many years. It is a dormant, so grows extremely well here. Scapes are strong and usually exceed the registered height by an inch or two. However, if there are more than one flower open on a scape at the same time, the scape will lean and not fair well if there is high wind. It has increased well to a clump of dozens of fans. Flowers are of heavy substance, glistening texture, and very full. The fullness is accentuated by mild recurve of the petals. The color is a pleasing very pale pink that is sometimes accented by a faint orangish pink eye. This is an older cultivar that has worked hard to maintain it's place in my garden.
