Thread OP

Hi,
I recently noticed my monstera was looking a little bit sad, does anyone have any advice on how to cheer it up a bit?
It sits at a window that gets a lot of light for half of the day and i water it around every 9 days. I have not repotted it since I bought it and it looks quite big for its pot, so I think this may be the issue.
Thank you!

Don't repot, wait to get some input.
Repotting may make problem worse.
I see dry and pale.
Could be h2o/drainage problem.
Wait for better input. Smiling

Start with more frequent watering. Looks like it's shriveling away.

hat direction does the window face? How deep into the soil does it get dry just before you water it?

Hi,

The window faces east, and I normally measure down about an inch before I water it.

You may be letting it get dry too deep into the soil. Water it when the top half-inch of soil feels dry to pour finger probe.
