Reegarding our database entry for Christmas Cactus (Schlumbergera x buckleyi)

I've always been confused by the different types of Holiday Cacti and I found notes that I compiled some years back with descriptions of Schlumbergera and Hatiora that have me wondering again. My old notes describe Schlumbergera x buckleyi as a hybrid cross between Christmas Cactus (Schlumbergera russeliana) and Christmas Cactus (Schlumbergera truncata) I thought x indicated a hybrid cross but I checked the Catalogue of Life entry and see that it's listed there as species Schlumbergera x buckleyi so is that a legitimate species name and if so, should our database list it with the x?

Yes, Lin. Our database should list it with the x, and now it does. Smiling

Thanks zuzu, I really wasn't sure if the x was required or not!
