What's the secret to getting small tubing to fit over the nipple on an Orbit manifold.
I've tried expanding the tubing with hot water and putting dishwashing soap on the nipple.
I just can't get it all the way over the barb so it leaks a fine spray. Not a big deal, but annoying.
Rain Bird nozzles, tees, etc., slide right into the tubing easily and securely.
Probably something simple, but it's beyond me.
Thanks.

Hello Clarke. A trick I use when assembling drip is to use a lighter on the top of the line for a couple seconds and then it slides on to fittings easily. You will have to judge the timing for your self. Too little and its still hard to get on. Too much and the tube becomes too soft.

Don't use Orbit products. They're c**p. If you eventually get them on, the skinny blue part will break the first time someone trips over it. Grumbling
