I'm in search of Spaceage iris from Wight iris farms of West Covina Californa. This would consist of introductions from a family group spanning the mid 80s to about 2002. Their (hybridizers) include.

All last name Wight. Any help at all here would be wonderful. Photos please if you have them. I had been of the impression that there were only 2 arilbred iris with horns. Although all these are listed as Tall Bearded they still possess the aril gene pool. I would love to see them if nothing else as there are no photos.

Update. If anyone is in the area or knows someone there I would love to know who acquired this farm or if it still Exists

I could not find any records of the Wights or their iris farm. Have you contacted the public library in West Covina?

If they don't have the answer, they might be able to lead you to a Hall of Records or a historical society. I would also check and see with the the American Iris Society and see if they have a chapter in West Covina. Some of the members, if any, may be able to give you some information and maybe even some irises. If you are not opposed to going to Facebook, that is another place you could ask. Especially if West Covina has a presence there.

(I personally don't care for Facebook, but it can be a useful tool in an investigation.)
