So many people overlook these beauties. Love Winter Aconite, Snowdrops, etc.--but also Ipheion Uniflora (Spring Starflower), Hyacinthoides hispanica (Spanish Bluebells), Hyacinthoides Non-Scripta (English Bluebells), Ornithogalum Ponticum Sochi, Leucojum Aestivum (Spring Snowflake), muscari (grape hyacinths). Out of all of these, Ipheion is probably my favorite--tough, durable, long-lasting, not so picky about location--as long as they get a couple of hours of sun, light. Wish more people appreciated their durability and beauty...

Agreed, I think for a lot of people they only think of the bulbs when they are blooming, come the fall people are pretty much done with their garden. I have
Tulip Humilis Violacea, Tommies Crocus tommasinianus 'Barr's Purple', Snowdrops Galanthus Elwesii and Galanthus nivalis and Snakeshead Fritillaria meleagris.

I try to add to the collection each year.
