ISO: climbing plant or vine to cover this backyard wall. Preferably one with pink flowers. Something not too invasive nor high maintenance. I live in California. I posted a picture of my backyard and a plant I love the look of (Hardenbergia Pink Spray), which does they have this available in california.

Have you looked at the various bougainvilleas?

I guess I don't understand - if you like the Hardenbergia why don't you plant that?
Alternatively:
Mandevilla
Pink Jasmine - may be too common
Believe it or not, some SoCal gardeners are successful with Clematis armandii
I find myself most amusing.

Most long lived vines have a short window of bloom.
Personally a fan of annual cypress vine... blooms and blooms, self sows every spring.
I also like climbing beans... most are edible.
The problem with my choices, is the necessity of putting some wire or something in front of the wall for the vines to grip.

Most vines DO have an interest in spreading beyond the fence... I grow locally native cross vine and coral honeysuckle... the coral honeysuckle is well mannered, the crossvine (Bignonia capreolata) is a bit aggressive.

I don't have experience with Hardenbergia, I googled it, supposed to be fast growing... Which often is not a good thing.

Growing a lilac vine can be overwhelming if you don't keep the plant in check. Hardenbergia can reach 50 feet (15 m.) in length, and it will twine itself around and climb everything in its path. Choose your planting site carefully and make sure it has a large, sturdy structure to climb or plenty of open ground to spread over.

For the Hardenbergia, I want it in pink and when I searched it on google the only results I got were it being sold in australia. So I assumed it wasnt available in Southern California. Do you think it would be available? Also do you know if they have invasive roots?

You could contact this wholesale nursery and ask them if there any any retail nurseries that carry the plant, it looks like they mostly carry the purple variety.

Hello AND A BIG Welcome!
(When planting any flowering vine, I've always used a cupful of Bone meal mixed into the dirt used to backfill the planting hole. This boosts flowering tremendously!)
Native plants to your area usually fare the best, this'd be my 1st choice b/c it draws and feeds hummingbirds:

Maybe this one?:

It does say that it needs some shade and pref just morning sun.

"My work is loving the world. Here the sunflowers, there the hummingbird β€” equal seekers of sweetness. Here the clam deep in the speckled sand. Are my boots old? Is my coat torn? Am I no longer young, and still not half-perfect? Let me keep my mind on what matters, which is my work which is mostly standing still and learning to be astonished." β€” Mary Oliver, from Messenger
