Annie,

NEVERBEENS - I like that word! 2 days ago hubby and I took a ride to Nay Aug Park up in Scranton. It is one of our "Neverbeens". The park is just 30 minutes from where we live, and it only took over 20 years to go there. Very pretty ... lots of trails, a waterfall, a large treehouse, and a pretty bridge to view the waterfall from. The park has a huge pool (will be under re-construction for the next 2 years) that I'm sure must be super crowded in the Summer. We also learned that the park is all decked out around Christmas time with lights for a very pretty drive through at night. Got to remember that!

Happy gardening,
Jane

Isn't it weird how we never go to attractions in our hometowns? It took me and my cousin Monica only 60 years to visit the Johnstown Flood Museum even though we were born and grew up there! When R and I moved here to Waynesboro, it took us only 15 years to go to Gettysburg (less than 1 hour away). I remember my aunt who went to New York City as a girl telling me that she was in her 50s before she visited the Empire State bldg.
I am not "country" I am "landed gentry."
