JUST fyi as i was researching if you buy lemon grass seeds IT IS NOT THE EDIBLE ONE

"Cymbopogon citratus. Used in teas, medicine, and cooking. Beautiful clumping. Highly desirable type of lemon grass that cannot be grown from seed. Grown from clump divisions or tissue culture. Zones 9-11.

i have listed the edible one on my edible sale thanks

I'm interested in the edible type. I posted in the "Edible Plants, herbs..." thread too, so I'll keep an eye on that thread for news.
Thanks again for the info.

i bought lemongrass seed at park seed . but it is the kind used for citronella to keep bugs away . however johnnys select seeds has the biggest selection of herbs i have seen in a long time and i think i recall seeing lemon grass used for cooking in their catalog .
