I bought a seedling on 6/9/2021 and planted it. I have 3 fruits so far but they look so small. I use Down To Earth Vegetable Garden fertilizer 4-4-4 and it said to fertilize it once a month. I have 2 questions

1. Should the fruits be bigger now?

2. I have to water it everyday, near 1 gallon but the leaves still look drooping. Given that we have heat in the west this year. But is it normal to water it everyday and the leaves still look drooping?

This is my first time planting watermelon. Thanks

It appears tha your melon does not like its accommodations. Watermelons need deep friable soil. They prefer sandy loam. I double dig a 3 foot diameter hole (12-15 inches deep ) an mix compost with soil I put back in the hole. Watermelons were born in the sub Sahara and are about as drought proof as any vegetable. BUT they need to get their roots down to find water.. You should not have to water more than once per week, but at that watering you need to wet the soil 10-12 inches. At this stage your vines should be rampant so Iexpect that you will have to happy with personal size melons. The good news is that Sugar Babys size down well, so they should be edible.
