Planted a 7-gallon snowbell this spring.
Yesterday, a thunderstorm blew it down. Seems like the taproot is broken.
other smaller roots are fine.

Will it live? Will it fall again even it lives without taproot?

The tap root is mostly an anchor. If the smaller (feeder) roots are okay, the plant should be too.
