Mother Nature has not been kind. My 2 Jet Star plants are just beginning to produce fruit, but pinching suckers from the plants I was disappointed to see many of its leaves with some ailment I hope someone can aid in knowing more about. Do I need to worry? Should I hope for tomatoes? Please offer info from the photo I'm including. Thanks!

Those are leaf miners. No real issue. An egg is laid by the female, she is very small. The eggs hatch and burrow into the leaf. Those are trails of the larvae living in the leaf tissue and I think it is strictly cosmetic.
Was the eggs are laid, there is nothing you can do. Perhaps you can try a general systemic insecticide at the time of planting next year. That is absorbed internally within the plant.

Not really. (I only wish I had your problem!) Leaf miner doesn't damage the fruit; your tomatoes should be fine.

Dear BigBill, Thank you for your prompt response. Living in zone 5 I'm not too hopeful of a season lengthy enough to get much from my plants, but there are a lot of blossoms and really small green fruit to hope for something more to come. Thank you. Thank You! Acorn Crossing Fingers!
