This agave probably does not qualify as a tender succulent, but I'd appreciate it if anyone can tell me what it might be. It is growing in an area that does not receive much water and has grown from a tiny pup to about two feet tall in seven years. It has sixteen pups, some several feet away from the original plant, and has withstood winter temps down to 10 degrees without damage.

I've forwarded this post to the Plant ID forum; there are some super sleuths there!
I have an inkling what it could be but let's wait to see what the experts say!
