Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Yellow Ducky')

I can't find my picture of this one. I thought I lost it last summer but it came back this summer. Hopefully it will get some increase now.

Yellow Ducky was included in a collection of toothy plants that I purchased. It has multiplied well, I have never used pollen or set pods on it. It's scape height is close to 34 inches. It does well in my colder climate. Sorry, I can't get more enthusiastic as it really has little to make it stand out. It looks like many other yellow daylilies. I have this one marked to go on my spring sale list. I don't even have a picture of it. For me it is an average toothy daylily.

I got Yellow Ducky in 2011 and it increases quickly. It is one of the hardest daylilies I have to get a good picture of.
The color is so bright it gets washed out in the sunlight and taking a picture on a cloudy day leaves it looking dull and dark. But it is very pretty in person and I love the teeth on it. I've never seen rust on it.

6/13/21 - it blooms about 4 weeks and even though it is registered as Mid-late, it blooms mostly in June in my zone 6b garden.

Branching is good with between 3-5 way and between 15-18 buds.


It is pod and pollen fertile because I had a bunch of seeds from it. However, I eventually threw them away for lack of space to plant them.
