I'm in Florida. My friend cut all the branches from her plumeria. My question is if I plant the trunk, will it grow and produce new branches

Just leave it as is, it should sprout new branches rather quickly.

Hi! dorisanngarr, if you mean the cuttings they have to be left to dry a bit and then you can plant them. I would leave them to dry the cut for a few days and then plant them in big containers. Once they are rooted you can keep them in the container until spring and then plant them in the ground.
