Rick, Impressive that they grow that big as an annual!! I grew them in California. Nearly always blooming, unfussy, pollinator magnets and that pungent salvia scent I love so much. I've missed them and thought about trying them as annuals here. That photo from zone 6 is encouraging.

Zoe, we've had some luck growing these as perennials in my zone 7b. You should try it.

Thanks! It does seem to be a Salvia leucantha. I'll have to double check with the woman whom I once met last year while she was working there.
