You must be the hardest working gardener I know. Are you sure I can't send you bus fare so you can come here and work in my garden too?

Our weather is getting cold now and everyone (non-gardener) says to me, "Oh you won't have anything to do in the garden until spring now." HA. Ha. ..Ha. .. Ha. October-December are some of the busiest times in my garden, doing all the heavy work of mulching, pruning, digging, etc. Reading your blog, it seems like you have full-on work all year round.

I know you love it! So do I! Just remember to take time to enjoy the garden (advice I need to also follow!)

I do spend time "smelling the roses". After years of hard work it's satisfying to take a walk along the trails and see......... all the trimming I still have to do, the weeds that need pulling - no seriously the hard work is worth the effort. Its magical to walk around and see orchids and tropical blooms, 100ft bamboos and the rain forest mosses. Gardeners are blessed.

I feel so too! There is always that day in early June when I stand at the top of the hill and think "if the whole world could be like this...."

Then of course I start pulling weeds....
