Apparently they (along with Odontonema stritum) are all the same plant. While the botanists figure it all out, just call it a Firespike

But nothing comparable for Thyrsacanthus tubaeformis leaving me to think Florida feels their FIrespike plants are Odontonema cuspidatum.

Thank you! That was spotted in a commercial setting so I didn't try to "talk plants" with anyone. I'll be on the lookout for it at stores though, especially when I'm in FL. Your comment is helpful info to have since I'll only feel like I need to get 1 even if I want more. I'll still blow my budget for that trip, as always, ...on something. Usually more pots if I run out of plants that I want to buy.
