I know many of you are still under a blanket of snow but hope things will warm up soon. As Winter turns to Spring I would love to see the spring flush of your heucheras.
This is a shot today of H. 'Brownies' and a mini daffodil. The Spring season is on it's way, sooner rather than later I hope.

I totally agree!

I only have one, Heuchera coral bells. It is happily coming back,battling it out with an actively growing Salvia May Night and the catkins and leaf kernels from the city trees. Finally had some much needed rain last night!

This winter I lost a few heucheras. I suspect that was due not to winter weather, but to the really dry fall we had leading into winter. However, most survived , and they are coloring up well.
I did weaken and add 'Fire Chief' last week to replace one that didn't make it.

Fire Chief has not been a strong plant for me but still alive.

Makes me wonder - if it isn't a strong plant for you, Julia, I cannot imagine my zone. I think of your neck of the woods as Heuchera Heaven.

Julie your plant is just so beautiful. Here are mine, guess I have 2. Yes, Carolyn this is a great area for heuchera.
This one is in more shade. Looks like it should me moved.
This one is out in the driveway with mostly full sun.
Good thing they are in pots, makes it easy to move.

These were some of the heucheras last May. Most of these have survived the winter. They are coloring up quickly now. Can't wait until they look good enough for pictures this year.

WOW! Hope you post a picture when they are in there prime this summer.
