I got 'Spacecoast Raspberry Mist' in 2008 and it never really took off. It eventually died completely sometime in 2017-2018. Then, only because I had a special plant marker for it, I got it again in 2019. It is doing somewhat better in its new spot, but still seems to be a slow increaser. To be fair, I also had 'Nell Dean' nearby and it died some time in 2015-2016, so I am not putting any daylilies back in these spots.

6/22/2015, 5 PM - The color does fade a lot and after seven years, this is all that it increased. I have not seen rust on it.

Branching and bud counts have always been low for me. It does have very pretty blooms and that is what initially drew me to it. If I did not have the plant marker, I would not have gotten it the second time.

Wish I could give it a better review, but like a few other Spacecoast daylilies (Spacecoast Gator Eye and Spacecoast Carnival), it just hasn't flourished in my zone 6b garden.

Most of the Spacecoast daylilies do not survive long here, declining yearly til they disappear. This is one that has survived and become a large clump over about 8 years. It has not reached the bud count stated, but does get into mid to upper teens. I have had it rebloom, but I think only twice. It has set seeds, but I have not had anything interesting from it.

I have never had luck w spacecoast daylilies in my zone 5 garden. I don't buy them anymore and I like to check out parentage of ones I buy, if there is direct spacecoast in it, I don't buy that either unless I see lots of photos/comments of good performance.
