Hi,

1) Is my pot too big for my snake plant?

2) Why are some of my leaves growing vertically ? Is this normal? My other snake plant is growing straight up.

Looks like a healthy plant in a good size pot, to me.
Plant it and they will come.

Your plant looks okay to me as well, though the media is just a bit dense. Just be careful with watering for now. Do watering intervals.

Other than that it is growing as it should.

You may want later on to mix in some more pumice into your soil to make it grittier, less dense.
