Hi everyone! I'm so irritated right now because I can't remember a certain flower. And yet it's one of my favorites! Can you try to help me by this description:

It's more of a delicate flower, I think grows on a bush or ground cover, and I call it the galaxy flower because it has a deep purple color (like a summer night), and has white specks all over the petals that look exactly like stars on a clear night. If you could help, I would appreciate it so much!
for You have been my help, and in the shadow of Your wings I will sing for joy.

Do you think I'd be able to plant it in my zone? I am still new to gardening *Blush*

Danita's photo was going to be my guess - you posted a good description.

They are tender perennials. That means they would do fine until the first frost. I grow them as annuals every year in a big bowl with some Siberian iris but they are the first to go in fall, followed by the Nasturtiums and finally the Million Bells.

Ok, thank you for the information ๐Ÿ˜„so I wouldn't be able to keep them inside before the first frost? I apologize, so many questions *Blush*

Sure, you can try if it/they still look good at the end of your summer growing season. If it stays alive over winter, it's a bonus. If not, you enjoyed it a little longer and no harm done.

My daughter keeps hers alive over winter. It gets leggy and needs a prune but otherwise, just fine.

I tried them on e, they did not keep the stars very well, I think heat makes them lose the starry look.. Daisy, do you know?
Plant it and they will come.

More pics... of Petunia Night Sky.....each flower is different.
As grown by my 97 year old, keen gardening neighbour Rita, last year in her hanging basket that she had made herself. She is an inspiration to everyone. For her 90th birthday her children gave a green house(glass house)!!!! She uses this to protect the plants until it is warm enough to leave them out.

Magnificent! As well as the Fuchsia, Christmas cactus, Lobelia, and something pink! (Oxalis bulbs?)
