Hey everyone! Only the older members would remember me. I fell off the map 5-6 years ago after our daughter was born. Too much else going on. I hope everyone is well and I'm still really into gardening :)

Photo below is me, my wife, and our beautiful daughter. It was taken on Christmas Eve 2021.

Great to hear from you Jeff! Addie has changed since I saw her last and she's growing into a lovely young girl. (Sorry for snap orientation.) Best wishes to all!

Well, it's about time you showed up!

No doubt about who Addie's mother is. They a spitting image!

At the last swap you attended, I think you got some spotted wintergreen from me. Is it still alive? If not, I seem to have it coming up all over the place now.

Do you think you'll make it to the spring swap?

Glad you dropped by! That's a gorgeous photo of your girls... happy family!!

Joyanna is 12 1/2 today! (I realize most people stop counting half-birthdays by the time their kids are 3, but for Joyanna it's also the anniversary of her adoption court date, so we'll celebrate it always.)

Hope you'll be able to stop in every now & again, not only for Addie stories but also to share some photos of how that backyard is growing!

Aww, cute pictures of baby Addie Lisa!! I enjoy looking back at them from time to time.

Rick, not sure on the spotted wintergreen, if I did get some, it isn't growing any more. I looked it up on Google and it sure is beautiful. Is it hardy for 6b? As for the plant swap, when/where is it or isn't that settled yet?

Critter, congrats on Joyanna's adoption anniversary Smiling The backyard is slowly turning into a forest. I'll be sure to post some pics this spring

Y'all will think this is so adorable...Addie and I were on a walk about the neighborhood yesterday and she was pointing out all the 'forevergreens'...so adorable!

No plans yet on the spring swap, yet Jeff. Probably won't start anything for another month or so.

Terri & I lost our dads on the same day in early January. My mom passed last spring, and hers just recently, shortly after my FIL. We've both spent a lot of times as caregivers the past couple of years, both a burden and a blessing.

Hah. I just told Joyanna the "forevergreens" story, and she said, "That's too cute. Sounds like something I'd have said when I was little!"

She had some classics too, especially with the plant facts she picked up early on, as I'm sure Addie is doing also. Jim once questioned my desire to purchase "a dead stick, just because it's on sale?" She rolled her eyes and said, "Daaaad, it's not dead, it's just dormant!"

Hi Jeff!

We just had it on Saturday the 30th.

Hope all is well with Darcy and the 'baby' now probably in kindergarten? Thinking

Jill is having a knee replacement today, should be back posting as soon as she can.
Plant it and they will come.

Good to hear from you Jeff! Fall swap was last Sunday @ David and Susan's and was a delightful event. I think you met them when sallyg hosted a swap. Critter had knee surgery—think it was this AM—and may be off the grid during recuperation. Best wishes to your family.
