What should I know? I bought one as a spring flowering plant today labeled annual. This article told me some but I'm debating the best site in my garden for this to (I guess?) become perennial? Full sun even if hot in summer? Part shade OK or not?

Plant it and they will come.

No help sadly....but goodness those are pretty!!!
“Little girl, why are you doing this? You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!” After a few moments thought, she bent down, picked up another starfish & hurled it as far as she could into the ocean. Then she looked up at the man and replied, “Well, I made a difference to that one!” Be the change you wish to see in the world. http://www.stillsthatspeak.com...

Well,
I gave it a bigger pot to help it stay moist. I took it to work to enjoy the lovely yellow flower. It got too dry and wilted and refused to recover. Next to dead now. Will never buy again!
Plant it and they will come.

I have a LOT of I think Bulbous Buttercup (Ranunculus Bulbosus). I let them grow because they are so pretty and cheerful looking, but now I am pulling them out. Some of them have bulbs in their roots, I found some as big as 1 1/2 inches!----Long time ago, in the 1980's I bought the fancy colored ones, they are beautiful--but they died----They looked like the old fashioned roses but smaller and translucent.
