I've had this one since 2017 and really love the way it sends out proliferations. I have taken at least 5 or 6 prolifs off of my clump in the last two years and there were several more I could have taken off. The prolifs I planted beside the mother plant are coming up now and look great.

The database says 5-way branching and this gets at least 4-way for me. With it being about 6-feet tall though, some of the branching is a foot or so down the scape. I don't believe I get the 36-40 bud count listed in the database. Probably more like 20-25.

In just 4 years, it has become a huge clump. I stopped counting after 25 fans in March 2021. This was a club auction plant in 2017, so I may have received 3 fans originally, but that is still a phenomenal increase.

One thing I noticed is the difference in the height between 2020 and 2021. In 2020, it seemed to reach about 6 feet tall, but in 2021 it only got between 4 and 5 feet tall. I also noticed that the scapes tended to lean a bit more in 2021, so that probably contributed to the appearance of loss of height.

It is definitely a mid-late season bloomer in my zone 6b garden. It blooms almost the whole month of July. I have not seen rust on it.

It is definitely pod and pollen fertile. I just had to do some crosses in 2021 and these seeds are in the fridge waiting to be planted.

This has been a nice addition to my garden and as long as it doesn't lean anymore than it did in 2021, it will be a keeper for me. I just saw in the database that it is supposed to be fragrant. However, I have not noticed this, but will have to pay attention this year.

Planted this one in late summer 2016, it is a nice daylily usually gets at or close to it's advertised height. Like the colors of it and it has a good bud count but not as high as stated but that is probably cause of I am in Z5a. Overall a nice daylily to add the height to the back row of 5 deep that I have planted in that location

@hubcap, Chuck, curious since you are a full zone north of me, but do you know about how many fans you have of this? Does it seem to multiply fast for you? It has for me!

Also, have you seen any proliferations on it? I get some every year.

Rolling on the floor laughing @hubcap! I am the worst person to remember to remind somebody of something, but I will try. I wish these threads had reminder buttons, lol!
