Second plant photo.

They are growing in a flower patch by the front of my house. There is a LOT of the second plant. Not many of the first plant, though.

It surprises me because we had a very bad drought last year, so I thought everything died. I guess I was wrong.

Any idea what these two plants are? I could wait until they bloom if necessary.

I agree, the second one is a Narcissus (Daffodil or Jonquil). Not sure about the first one; you might need it to flower.

Thanks for getting back. I love daffodils, so that's a pleasant surprise.
