Annie,

Grow bags. What a great idea! I recycle whatever I can. Sometimes things work out. Sometimes they don't. It's always worth trying though.

I love Blue Flowers! Tell me about Forget-me-nots. I have never grown them. Is it difficult? What kind of growing environment do they like? Are they deer resistant?

Nothing much going on here. It's really COLD this morning and windy. Feels more like February. We even had some sleet and snow yesterday. Supposed to warm up a bit over the weekend. Coldest Spring we have had in a long time. Hoping we will have a nice Summer. The last few Summers have been rainy and on the cool side. Oh well, time will tell.

Take care,
Jane

Hi Jane, cold here too! I've got perennial Chinese Forget-me-Nots (Cynoglossum, not Myosostis) and they are wonderful. Deer don't touch them, ever, never. They bloom for me in mid-late April and stay until around mid-May. Perfect timing with white violets and white tulips. If you'd like, I can send you some plants. They reseed and spread but not invasively. And the blue is true BLUE, not purplish.
I am not "country" I am "landed gentry."
