I'm no arborist, but I see Brachychiton populneus listed in the list of plant species in the collection at the Barcelona Botanical Garden, so it seems likely to be your plant.

Looks like a BAOBAB tree, which has a large water filled trunk.
These trees can live for thousands of years!
