Obviously mislabeled, any clues?

I purchased it in 2018, so first time blooming.

Not familiar to me.

It's pretty, whatever it is. Contact the nursery and send them a picture, I guess. Maybe they'll have a clue. (Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.)

My first thought was it may be related to Acoma or Eagles Flight. Paradigm is a child of Acoma.

I thought it may be worth considering but I am not sure it it's beard is too dark and the banding on its standards seem more defined than your NoID.

Robin ~ It is not Paradigm. The standards are solid in color, and the picture you posted of Paradigm shows plicata standards. Still, it is close. Thank you.

There are a million purple and white plicatas so this is going to be a tough one to solve.

Leslie ~ How well I know. I have no intention of solving it, unless someone just happened to have one identical or nearly so. If it were one I wanted to keep, then I probably would pursue this to the end. Still, it does have a nice form for a maiden bloom. Someone might want to use it in their hybridizing.

I am getting too old to really pursue hybridizing as it should be done properly with plenty of ready beds. I have the property, but not fenced and dug! I can barely keep up with what I have...if I do! I'm still digging out weeds and it feels like summer already.

Being prepared to take on a bunch of seedlings requires more time and preparation than I have at the moment. I haven't really had many seedlings. I have two from an SDB (well, a third just popped up) that are self maintaining, one from Jungle Shadows and my LA seedling. I have 9 pods left on LA's this year. Not sure what insanity has led me to want all the seeds those will produce. (Actually I blame Gabe who has gone hybridizing crazy this year. Lol).

Not sure.. It looks older than yours, but you might follow it's lines down.. I was also thinking of Spinning Wheel, but it doesn't have the blue standards.,.
