I keep finding these in my garden, anyone happen to know what it is? I live in north Texas in zone 8.

Looks to me like a wheel bug nymph (Arilus cristatus). Adults look quite different. They are predators of other insects and considered "good guys" in the garden. Can reportedly bite, I'd leave them alone and let them get to work eating stink bugs and caterpillars.
