What is it? Pachypodium geayi or P. lamerei ? Meadowlark Botanical Garden, Vienna, Virginia.

Probably lamerei. I don't think I've seen geayi branch at the base like that, but with lamerei this is more common. The new spines on geayi are minutely pubescent, meaning they have many very fine hairs (this feature not found on lamerei).
