hi everybody,

does anyone out there how to control a serious infestation of Megaplatypus mutatus on a 26-year-old Acer buergerianum that has been losing vigour in the last two years (less and less foliage but no dieback, yet)?

thanks so much Sally: the reference source you sent me is excellent indeed, but yet I cannot figure out how an ordinary folk can tackle an infestation of this sort in an urban garden in practical terms, or whether there are effective treatments available. Best regards, Jorge

Best of luck, someone else may comment but this is a holiday weekend for US and that may slow down the activity here.
Plant it and they will come.
