A vivid colour in anyone's garden, Cherry Burst is cold hardy for northern gardeners and always an eye-catcher.
It blooms reliably every year and does match the stats - about 2 1/2 feet tall, so it does show well even among some of the taller perennials... or set in front of a nice bit of foliage, such as a shrub (or ferns). Its blooms are about the size of my palm, so I think it matches the 4-plus inches stated and the branching is good so they are not pinched in upon each other when the flowers open.
The blooms open well, always, and I have never had any issues with water spotting or fading in the sun. And never any pests, or rust. It's a lovely, bright spot in the gardens and I would certainly recommend it.
Update - this is one daylily that just keeps getting better.
