This plant was new last year. It did have a short bloom of 4 flowers, but mostly it was building a root system. This year looks much better and I'm looking forward to bloom. Last year, bloom started July 20, I'm guessing it might go earlier this year, now that the plant has settled in some.
Name: Mary Anne Jay Wentworth, NS, Canada (Zone 4a)
This is one of my late bloomers and a pretty one. It has been here for 6 years and is a good grower/increaser. It actually grows taller here than registered. The bud count is 18 on 4 way branching. The blooms are always consistent in color and size. One of my favorite cultivars
JF started blooming July 8 and didn't stop until September 3. It produced over 30 blooms. It did lose a fan by October, bringing it down to 2, and it came down with a bad case of rust.
2023 update…JF had a strong season, blooming from July 15-August 22, with at least 50 blooms. By October, it was up to 7 fans. This is such a strong, Late bloomer! Great color and form, lasting well past most other Daylilies.
