Can someone ID this plant? I thought it was either from coneflower seeds I tossed down or plants that came back from last year since they were near the markers. Now I think they are ragweed or similar considered to be a weed around here (zone 6b). The leaves are much larger at the bottom than the top.

Almost certainly not ragweed.
I suspect eupatorium of some sort... Some have amazingly scented flowers and attract pollinators like mad...

I'd wait for flowers... looks like it's getting ready.

Please post blooms.

Update, they now have tiny pink flower buds & 2 apps are finally agreeing that it's epilobium, a willow herb. Definitely nothing I planted, but since it's getting flowers, I may let them stay this year.

How cool!
Pretty and medicinal...

I seem to be south of where it grows...
