Well I can't use 'Mad about Mangave', been taken. But Crazy is the best way to describe my addition. If Agave wasn't bad enough I went crazy over this new (since 1990) hybrid with Manfreda (which is now in Agave).
Currently have over 16 varieties.

Sorry, I should have looked before leaping. Most of my collection is this year only with only a few last year. They are extremely fast growers and some bloom in 3rd. year. In pot couture it may take 5 or more years. Some nice variegated varieties that came out a few years ago are no longer available unless you happen to know some one who purchased them. They do pup like crazy making me wonder why some are imposable to find today.

There is a sport of Boodspot, Bloodlines Plant Delights sells but cost and shipping puts it out of my reach. Since Bloodspot was one of the first Mangave to come overseas with unknown bloodlines there are many cultivars of this going around.

A Walters Gardens new addition called 'Wingman' sport of 'Redwing'. Coming out 2023.



Another one similar called 'Dragon Lady' sport of 'Desert Dragon'.



Very rare to have plants in Blue to Red of the color spectrum. Waiting to find all in just one plant.
