Not Little Clown. Little Clown is pink, with a rosy eyezone and green throat. Just recieved two weeks ago, was really surprised to see a scape, buds, then today, no, say it isn't so, wrong plant. I just sent seller an email.

I also noticed that 'Little Clown' has "dancing" stamen (spaced out in a more circular pattern as if they were dancing) and the plant they sent you does not have them. Ever since I heard that term recently I catch myself looking for plants that show them.

In central Florida we are down but not totally out. Two of my plants decided to bloom.

Interesting Larry, I never heard that term. I just checked out the photos of Little Clown in the database and saw the "dancing" stamen. Thank you for letting me know. Hopefully I get a replacement and get to see it in person.

Never underestimate the toughness of daylily's.

It's a good thing I don't hang out in the daylily's thread very often I would have a sore thumb …up and no acorns left.
