Loved the blooms on this one, but it struggled here. It lingered 3 years before giving up. I guess it is a more tender evergreen.

I ordered Spacecoast Citrus Kick from the local daylily farm in the fall of 2008 and I must have really loved it when it was in bloom because I paid $22 for it. For me back then, that was an expensive daylily. However, I have to say it has not performed too great. If it had, I would have a lot more pictures of it. Like Nancy mentioned, I believe it struggles to survive in my zone 6b garden.

It has not multiplied very much, does not have good branching or bud count and seems shorter than the registered 25 inches. In 2022, it still only has 7 fans. I have seen a rebloom scape in late August, which is nice.

This pic is the best I could find showing the branching.

The blooms are very beautiful and ruffly. I have probably only kept it as long as I have because of the rebloom in August.
