I have a Little Miss Kim Lilac that is going on 5 years now. It has NEVER BLOOMED. It's healthy, has gotten larger every year, but it just hasn't produced any buds or flowers. It's planted in a corner back garden that gets sun all afternoon. What am I doing wrong?

Lilacs bloom best with full sun, which is considerably more than 6 hours of sun. Improper pruning can cut off spring blooms. Too much fertilizer can produce lots of green growth and no blooms. Late frosts can kill last year's flower buds.
