Stealth Stella is still blooming now that it's November, but I'm not going to take another picture of a little yellow flower peeping out from the mass of dead brown foliage.

This first year seedling was scaping as it was colder so I brought the whole thing indoors to speed it up. Finally bloomed, and seems stripey as hoped for (the prior 3 siblings were not ).

Orion, I like your seedling better than Yankee Pinstripes. Is that sacrilegious?

Well, we will have to wait to see what it looks like in real life outdoors, 2023.

YP pictures show a huge variation in styles of bloom, when you look at them all. Some are very nice.

But yeah, I was hoping for YP with a bigger greener throat. These are from purchased LA seeds in Nov 2021 (seller: Mthrnatur). Something like the C137-1 from Regina (scflowers) here, where she used Emerald Starburst x Pink Stripes:

Until she puts that impossibly gorgeous one up for sale, this one might become a fallback for me (if it survives winter).

Oh that one looks really good Orion! Stripes and a large green throat. So much potential there for it to improve when it blooms during normal bloom season. Hope that last one is stripey too!
