Tried bunch of different ways, nothing seems to have any effect on them,
The only thing i don't want to do is watering them with the colored water, I don't want to cause damage to the roots, stems can be trimmed

Hello Natriy,
Could you please clarify your question a bit?
Are you trying to dye orchid flowers a different color?
What kind of orchids are you working with?
What stage of flowering are they in?
What methods have you already tried?
What sort of dye did you use?
I don't know why anyone would want to do this, maybe you could help me understand! Confused
Thank you.

Used moth orchid
Yes, I'm trying to get different color of the flower, it has been some time since it bloomed so I used it for experiment since it's gonna get chopped of anyways.
I used dissolved food coloring
As for the ways-
Cut at the bottom of the stem, tape cone under it and put color there
Cut higher and soak cotton and put it on the Cut
Cut between the blooms still on the stem and just let drops there
I only achieved few blue veins, but never anything visible

Here is how one company dyes orchids for sale:
https://www.justaddiceorchids....
They basically inject a special dye into the flower stem as the buds are developing.
Here is a YouTube video on how to do it at home.

Sounds like the process needs to start as the buds are forming, it's not done with mature/open flowers.
How about getting your plant healthy and blooming normally instead? I think Phalaenopsis flowers are naturally beautiful as they are. There are lots of colors available without resorting to weird looking artificial dyes. That is just my opinion, I don't understand the reason for dying them, but good luck with your project.

If you are able to share any pics of your results, I would love to see them. And any pics of "too many" orchids. In any case, best luck with your project!
