Click on "Your Profile" at the top of any page. On your profile page click on "Change your public profile". Scroll to the bottom where you see your avatar, and click on the "Choose File" button. This will open a window where you can select a file from you computer, select the photo and click open. When it has loaded be sure to click the save button at the bottom of the page.
