I've been organic in my veggie garden for years now and will do the same for my new rose garden. I would love to know what brands and products you guys use in here for different problems that crop up. And, maybe what to stay away from because it's harmful to the environment.
What works for tomato and potato plants may not work for roses, so, I'd appreciate any advice that can come my way.

Products that kill mildew, blight and mold on tomatoes usually will work on leaf problems for roses, I have used the same Bio-fungicides on both for decades.

I use Sonata, Serenade, Oxidate and Actinovate but alternate between products so problems can not mutate to avoid what one used.
There are other brands and an in depth net search on what there is and price is a very good idea.
Cease is identical to Serenade but a lot more expensive; I also buy 2.5 gallo sizes and in the long run it is a LOT cheaper.

I have never alternated and what a good idea that is. Year after year, I've always used a copper fungicide and wondered why it stopped working on my potato/tomatoes as the summer wore on.

As I have two gardens fifty miles apart, if I have all four I spit two to each Oxi., Ser. at one So. Act. at the other but generally I have two and split them between the gardens.
On occasion, in a bad year, I will have at least 3 and switch in approx. 2 months, or even every two times, as with black spot, a humid summer is its favorite, but generally I just change each year of late.
My North garden , partly due to location, is more suceptible to problems than the South one , so if I have three, North gets two.
Oxidate and Actinovate are more expensive than Serenade and Sonata, and Actinovate is technically time expired, so if I have that , I use it more often.

I store all in a cool dark basement in winter, Actinovate in the freezer or fridge is not a bad idea as it is a powder, plus I apply a good deal more , except with Oxidate, than instructions say.
I generally use five gallon buckets or two gallon watering cans and pour it in till I am happy even at that I always read the instructions.
