Do you know any plant protection methods?
Have you used them?
Please give me some advice.

Welcome to the site!

What kind of plants are we talking about?

My only other advice is not to trim the branches very much going into winter; just the longest canes. The branches have carbohydrates in them that will benefit the plant duting winter.

Also, give your roses a long drink of water from the garden hose before covering the ground around their roots, since winter rains may not penetrate the mulch, leaves or soil mounded around the plants.
