Replaced my Snow Angle today. Dark Chocolate and Circus coming this week from Santa Rosa. These are also ones that did not make it.

What new ones or replacements are you getting this year.

I will never try snow angel again. That poor thing struggled and suffered for 4 years. In a pot out of a pot I finally gave up on her. For white in the garden I have sub with Jack Frost that we discussed earlier.

So far this year I have picked up
Vulcano
Circus
Georgia Peach....duplicate that I have but I like it.

I am just beginning my birthday was this week and I received money and Mothers day is coming and I know I will be getting gift certificates to the nursery. Lookout Here I come. Rolling on the floor laughing

I gave up on Snow Angel also after reading that it was very temperamental and after it croaked here during its first winter.
This spring I've added:
H. 'Tiramisu'
H. 'Southern Comfort'
H. 'Vulcano'
H. 'Fire Alarm'

In addition to these, the following new ones are on the way:
'Stainless Steel'
'Georgia Plum' ( I have Georgia Peach but don't know this one. Anyone, comments?)
'Electric Lime' This one reminds me of some heucherella that grow here with the colored veining. Does anyone grow this one?

Clint Stainless steel is a beauty. I picked it up last year. It looks really good with my Japanese Painted Fern. It is came back really strong after the winter. My good survivors are always my favorite.

It is from the Primrose Path, a hybrid of Bronze Wave and Regina. Nice silver color and should flower well coming from Regina.

Well I have to eat my words. I am still spending my Mother's Day and Birthday gift money and Snow Angel jumped in my hands.

There is a small nursery I visit every year because they are the only ones that carry nice coleus not the cheap seed grown ones and bushes. They are a very small outfit.

They only had one Herc and it was this big Snow Angel for 5.99. It is big so maybe this one is more established and will survive. The gallon pot is stuffed.

I thought of Clint. So I am calling this purchase a Clintbrown syndrome sickness.

LOL. I do understand how difficult it is to resist temptation. I swore I wouldn't buy anything and ended up buying a 'Black Diamond' Crape Myrtle and a Hosta 'Stained Glass.' Now I need to order some more Heuchera!

Wish you luck with Snow Angel. I find that Hercules is a better grower for me here in Washington.

Steel City is a pretty one.

I planted some of mine in the ground a few days ago.

New ones for me are:

Amethyst Myst
Can Can
Ginger Peach

and Golden Zebra Heucherella.

The area I planned to place these is very moist but sandy; is this okay for those noted as not liking wet feet? And, is the problem with too much wet predominately a consideration for wintertime, or year-round?

Thank you. Smiling

I can't wait to see it all filled in. I have the nearest two about two feet each away from Empress Wu -I hope that's enough room.
