Finding this landscape in the middle of a long row of homes with each having two trees and a hedge in the front yard was a pleasant surprise. It had obviously been planted several years before I first saw it... the maturity of the plants says that.
The pine is a very nice touch. And if memory serves, the tree is a Linden. Way too few designers, contractors and gardeners plant pines or lindens around here.
The retaining wall sets this garden apart from any neighboring landscape... and it's free-stack construction contributes to the overall relaxed look of this garden.
