Hi!

I'm just downloading the botanical notes I've made over many years to your website (a not inconsiderable task which will probably take me a very long time LOL) but it seems the Genus Aakia isn't in your database? It's a member of the Poaceae and as far as I have been able to establish contains just one species - Aakia tuerckheimii (Hack.) J.R.Grande - a perennial grass native to Mexico and Mesoamericana. The species is accepted by Kew (see https://powo.science.kew.org/t...). Not sure if you want to therefore add that genus/species to your database?

Best wishes

Frederick Everest

Thanks Frederick.

We did have it, but under its previous name. I've updated the entry:
Aakia tuerckheimii
